My mom is reading me Sarah, Plain and Tall. It is about 2 kids, a cat and 2 dogs and a Dad. They are looking for a new wife for their Dad. They found Sarah who lived in Maine. She loved the sand dunes and the ocean.
Today she heard sheep and a birdie named a killdeer. The killdeer is funny because it plays like it has a broken wing to scare off the predators from the babies.

Hi Jackson.
We loved your new pictures…especially the ones of the sand dunes! We used to live near the ocean in North Carolina and now we live in Peru near a big mountain that is covered in snow.
When we lived in North Carolina we saw lots of killdeer. They are funny!

Jackson, your new site is just great. When your dad and Uncle Mark were teenagers we took and long trip all the way from Florida to Maine. We didn’t see any killdeer however but we introduced them to cracking and eating lobster right out of the cooking pot. They thought it was yucky! Ask your Dad to tell you about that trip. Some funny things happened especially the different places we found to stay different nights.
