Our purpose is to learn more about the Creator from the created. Teaching our children to respect the world God has given us is part of them learning how to grow into people who holistically view their faith and their interactions with the world around them. For our family, taking small steps to recycle and conserve are an act of thankfulness laid at the feet of our King. We do not “worship god in nature” as some naturalists do, but worship God because of his creation.
This blog is an expression of our home school journey. It specifically chronicles nature in books we read, things we find around our home and what we see out and about in the world.
As we go along, you will find resources and tips that have been helpful to us in the Resource Center. We hope our musings will encourage you to get out and about and see what is going on outside in your neck of the woods. Enjoy!
